For bookings made through Cheap Fare Flight. Airline rules and fees apply, and nothing is changed until you approve a written quote.

Seat and upgrade options depend on the airline, the aircraft and the fare you hold. Some fares include seat selection; many basic fares charge for it or assign seats at check-in; and upgrades may be sold at a set price or only as a move to a higher fare.

We check what your ticket allows, what each option costs and whether an upgrade changes your fare conditions. A higher cabin can bring a bigger bag allowance and different change rules, and we spell that out before you decide.

You get a quote showing the airline's charge and any fee of ours, and we act only once you approve.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you want

A seat type, seats together, or a cabin upgrade on one or more flights.

  2. We check the options

An agent looks at the seat map and the upgrade paths your fare permits.

  3. Quote and approval

The airline charge, our fee and any change to your fare conditions, before payment.

  4. Done, in writing

When the airline locks in the new seat or cabin, you get the updated details from us.

Questions about this service

Is an upgrade the same as a better seat?

No. A seat selection keeps your cabin and fare. An upgrade moves you to a higher cabin and can change your bag allowance and fare rules.

Can I upgrade only one flight of a connecting trip?

Sometimes. Whether one leg can be upgraded alone comes down to the carrier and the way your fare was built. We find out, and price it, before you decide.

Do I get my seat fee back if the airline moves me?

Airlines generally refund a paid seat fee if they cannot provide the seat you paid for, though each has its own process. Tell us and we will check what the airline offers.

Have dates in mind?

Send the route and your dates. An agent will come back with options and an all-in total, and nothing is booked until you say so.
