The fee
Our service fee is charged per passenger and is shown on its own line in your quote, before you pay.
This is what Cheap Fare Flight earns for putting your booking together and looking after it. It is kept apart from the airline fare, taxes and government fees, which the airline and the authorities set.
Built into the price you see
U.S. Department of Transportation rules require ticket agents to include all mandatory taxes and fees, including their own service fees, in the price they show. Every total we quote includes our service fee, and the quote also lists it on its own line so you can see what goes to the airline and what comes to us. You see the full amount before you pay, and we take payment only for the amount you approved.
What you are paying us for
- Hunting down and comparing flights for your dates.
- Decoding fare conditions and bag costs.
- Writing up the quote and placing the booking.
- Getting your confirmation and itinerary to you.
- Answering your questions about the trip before departure.
Fees for changes and other requests
A change, cancellation, name fix, or seat or upgrade request is extra work, and a service fee may apply to each one. If it does, it appears in the quote for that request, on a separate line from any airline charge, so you can decide before approving.
Refundability
Your quote says, before you pay, whether any of our service fee comes back if you cancel or if the airline cancels. A refund that federal rules require is never reduced by our fee.
Taxes on our fee
If sales tax or any other tax applies to our fee, we charge it as the law requires and show it on your receipt.
