Group travel

Moving a larger party? We run the request, the name list and the payment dates as a single project.

For bookings made through Cheap Fare Flight. Airline rules and fees apply, and nothing is changed until you approve a written quote.

Group travel follows different rules from individual tickets. An airline may offer a group fare with its own deposit schedule, a deadline for final names and specific conditions for changes. Sometimes booking individual tickets comes out lower, especially on busy dates. We price both routes and explain the trade-offs.

You work with one agent, who keeps one name list and one timeline. We tell you when names, travel document details and payments are due, and confirm each step in writing.

The size at which an airline treats a booking as a group varies, and we check this for your route. Group pricing and deposit terms come from the airline, and we set out every deposit and payment date in writing before you commit.

How it works

  1. Share the plan

Dates, departure airport or airports, destination, approximate headcount and how flexible you are.

  2. Options compared

Group-fare and individual-ticket options, with conditions, deadlines and all-in totals.

  3. Lock in the seats

You pick an option; we place the booking and send the dates for deposits and the final name list.

  4. Names and documents

You send the final list, and we check spellings against ID before submission.

  5. Tickets issued

Each traveler's ticket details are sent, with a single summary for the organizer.

Questions about this service

Do we need every name before we book?

Not always. Many group fares let you secure seats first and send names by a deadline. We tell you the deadline that applies to your booking.

Can people fly from different cities?

Yes. We can coordinate travelers joining from several US airports so the group arrives close together, though each flight is priced separately.

What happens if someone drops out?

It depends on the group terms. Certain group contracts let you swap in a new name for a charge, while others simply keep the money for an empty seat. You will know which kind you have before any deposit goes out.

Have dates in mind?

Send the route and your dates. An agent will come back with options and an all-in total, and nothing is booked until you say so.
